ONE person was arrested for a public order offence following otherwise peaceful Eid celebrations in Southall over the weekend.
Celebrations took place to observe the Muslim holiday, which marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting.
Extra space for up to 50 Muslim graves has been allocated at Hortus Cemetery in Southall.
The area in Merrick Road was marked on Tuesday, October 21, at 11am following a low-key gathering at the cemetery.

Opposition members had planned to protest tomorrow at what they claim is unfair treatment by President Simmat Singh Sohi.
