This year's annual general meeting at the Southall Gurdwara passed peacefully and without any incidents, according to police.
The Sikh temple in Havelock Road, the largest of its kind outside of India, hosted the meeting for the Gurdwara's 1,000 plus members on Sunday (February 7).

The event in South Ruislip attracted over 600 guests, who enjoyed dinner and listened to guest speakers including the Secretary of State for the Home Department, Alan Johnson MP, Claude Moraes MEP and London Labour Party Director, Ken Clark.
MORE than £300 has been raised by children who took part in a fun run at Windmill Park Children's Centre in Southall.
About 20 children aged up to 4-years-old took part in the run by doing five laps around the centre in Southall Park onFriday June 5 and all money raised will go towards facilities for the summer.
Thames21, London's leading waterways charity, will be running a free event at the Grand Union Canal by the Common, Southall tomorrow and Sunday from 10.30am - 4pm.
There will be activities suitable for all to get involved with including boat trips, fishing lessons, face painting, balloon modelling, and also the chance to get involved with litter and graffiti removal from the waterside areas.
