Mental health call centre set for April
After months of planning, the new Contact Centre at West London Mental Health NHS Trust will open for business on 1 April 2010.
Until now, calls to the Trust have been answered by Ealing Hospital's switchboard team.
New centre team manager, Carol Dinham-Tracy said: "Our in house team has a strong local knowledge of our services, allowing us to answer calls from service users, carers, relatives and members of the community more quickly and effectively than before.
"One of the key benefits is that the centre will operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure there is always someone to pick up the phone and offer assistance."
Systems are also in place for the Contact Centre team to deal with emergency alerts and calls. You can reach the centre by calling 020 8354 8354.
