A primary school in Southall is the first in the borough to screen 'The Life Channel Schools network' broadcasting messages of health and well-being to students, teachers and parents.

Lady Margaret Primary has installed the channel which is already available at Ealing PCT and schools elsewhere in the country giving information on eating well, having an active lifestyle, respecting others and avoiding drink and drug misuse.

Headteacher, Richard Rodgers, said: "We are always looking for ways of promoting good lifestyle choices for our children, whether this is through nutrition, active hobbies and making good choices with their friends, such as promoting anti-bullying and being positive
about differences and we're pleased the network promotes these values."

The network is part a project devised by the Department of Health and Department for Children, Schools and Families.

We'd like to hear from you.
