Southall travel firm nominated for award

SOUTHALL Travel has been nominated for one of the travel industry's most prestigious awards.

The Holiday Team, a division of Southall Travel, has been short-listed for the "flight-only operator of the year" prize in the TTG Travel Awards, run by the industry's leading trade newspaper, Travel Trade Gazette.

Southall Travel launched The Holiday Team brand two years ago to allow travel agents throughout the UK to book worldwide flights and tailor-made travel arrangements.

Southall Travel, based in South Road, Southall, is a family owned business with a turnover exceeding £150 million.

It employs more than 700 staff globally across the leisure, wholesaling and business travel sectors.

This year's winners will be announced at a ceremony at London's Grosvenor House Hotel on September 22.
