Kids raise £300 for children's centre

MORE than £300 has been raised by children who took part in a fun run at Windmill Park Children's Centre in Southall.

About 20 children aged up to 4-years-old took part in the run by doing five laps around the centre in Southall Park onFriday June 5 and all money raised will go towards facilities for the summer.

Centre manager Effat Leghaei said: "The children did very well, and they each got a certificate at the end of their run. We would like to say a special thanks to the parents for supporting us."
