Posted by James Gates on May 5, 09 05:21 PM in Schools/colleges

TBG Learning Centre in Southall is opening its doors to the public as part of the nationwide Adult Learners' Week, running this year between May 9 and 15.

Everyone is welcome to come and bring a friend to see what courses are on offer at the centre in Windmill Lane.

TBG Learning runs a wide range of courses including English for Speakers of other languages (ESOL), the Employability Skills programme, Literacy and Numeracy qualifications, and IT skills. The centre's tutors also give individual guidance on areas such as job search and interview techniques.

Anyone is welcome to visit the centres during the week, when tutors will be available to answer any questions you may have. Telephone the Southall centre on 0208 893 5389.

We'd like to hear from you.

As Adulty Learners' Week approaches, I hope you'll allow me to add that the Esperanto Association of Britain offers a free Esperanto postal course. Suitable for those who would like a quick taster, this course gives an overview of the language in twelve bite-sized portions. Once you have received the first lesson, simply return your answers with an SAE. Your tutor will reply with guidance and the next lesson. All you pay is postage! Tel: 0845 230 1887 or write to:
