Southall Sports Centre reopens after blaze

Southall Sports Centre has reopened after a fire.

The centre in Beaconsfield Road was shut on Saturday (8) after workers arrived to find smoke filling the building.

They called the Fire Brigade who quickly put out the small blaze, no-one was hurt.

It was confined to the staff area and was thought to have been caused by an electrical fault.

The centre reopened today (12) and is operating under its normal hours: 8am to 10pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 7pm at the weekend.
