Psychiatric Patient Returns

A convicted patient who absconded from a psychiatric unit in Southall has returned to the facility.

A manhunt had been underway last week for Ahmed Mohammed, 25, after he left the Uxbridge Road unit on Saturday September 27. He was sentenced in 2002 for indecent assault against lone females.

A spokesman for West London Mental Health Trust said that on Friday (October 3), he returned to the secure mental health facility and is safe and well.
