Day Centre Anniversary
AN AFTERNOON of singing, dancing and food is being planned to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Southall Day Centre on Wednesday (September 24) from 2pm onwards.
Hundreds of local residents who use the centre will join with staff and local dignitaries, including Leader of Ealing Council, Cllr Jason Stacey, to mark the occasion.
Welcoming up to 450 people a day, 365 days a year, the centre is one of the largest of its kind in the capital, providing a wide range of health and social care, learning and advice and advocacy services to people across West London.
Users include people from the Indian Sub-Continent or East Africa as well as refugees from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Africa and India.
We'd like to hear from you. Send your stories, pics and videos
